Dr. Rene Tanquilut
DDS, FAGD, FICOIDr. Tanquilut was born in Chicago and raised in the southwest suburb of Orland Park. He earned both his bachelor’s degree and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Illinois. As a graduate student, he completed an externship in oral surgery. After dental school, Dr. Tanquilut completed a General Practice Residency Program (GPR) at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He rotated through various different departments during his residency, including Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Over the last 20 years, Dr. Tanquilut has taken almost three times the annual continuing education hours required by the state. As a result of his training, continuing education and years of experience, he has been awarded Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Caroline Witik
Dr. Caroline Witik graduated from St. Mary’s College in 2016 with her Bachelor of Science in biology and from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2021 with her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She is a member of the American Association of Women Dentists and the Xi Psi Phi Dental Fraternity. Dr. Witik has volunteered with the Veteren’s Day Clinic, Alton Outreach, Give Kids A Smile and National Children’s Health Month to give adults and children in need dental care and dental screenings. Outside of work, Dr. Witik enjoys playing the piano, and she has been performing and taking lessons since she was a child.
